Two Rivers Arts Council
- is a regional partnership to promote the arts and cultural heritage of west-central Illinois
- serves the 212,000 residents of Brown, Calhoun, Cass, Fulton, Greene, Hancock, Henderson, Jersey, Mason, McDonough, Pike, Schuyler and Scott counties in Illinois.
- Publishes Tales From Two Rivers, the award winning series of collected short stories, written by Illinois senior citizens.
- Is a registered Illinois not-for-profit corporation with membership open to everyone.
Services
REGRANTING
The Illinois Arts Council designated TRAC as a regional regranting agency in 1981. Since that time TRAC has ad ministered the Arts Access Programs in west-central Illinois.
WORKSHOPS
TRAC sponsors several workshops each year in various loctions throughout the region. Recent workshops have covered topics like “Memories to Memoirs”, Everything You Wanted to Know About Not-for-Profits”, and “Grant Writing for the Arts”.
NEWSLETTER
TRAC publishes a quarterly newsletter that includes a calendar of regional events and articles covering the activities of local artists and organizations.
FIELD DEPOT
TRAC distributes Illinois Arts Council information and materials and provides technical assistance in their use.
NETWORKING
TRAC, in cooperation with the Performing Artists Network, publishes the Artists Register/Resource Book, a regional listing of artists and organizations in west-central Illinois. TRAC also sponsors several “Meet & Greet” gatherings each year. These are informal events where people with an interest in the arts and culture have a chance to get to know each other.

Where Your Membership Dollars go
Your membership money helps support such programs as the Tales from Two Rivers writing contests and books, the TRAC Arts Print Library, and countless local programs that seek grant funds from the Two Rivers Arts Council. Your membership also helps to pay the administrative costs incurred by TRAC.
